Gerónimo de Uztariz strictly follows a policy of external peer review.

- The journal's editorial team will acknowledge receipt of the papers received within 15 days.

- Manuscripts will be reviewed anonymously (double-blind) by two specialists in the field of study who do not form part of the editorial team. The form used by the external reviewers is public and the authors have access to it.

- If there is disagreement between the two external evaluations, the editorial team will commission a third review, which will decide whether the work is published.

- Gerónimo de Uztariz undertakes to communicate a decision on acceptance or rejection within a maximum of three months from the beginning of the evaluation process. In the reply, the reports of the evaluation process will be attached so that the author can introduce the required changes. These reports will always be anonymous.

- Authors will have a maximum of 15 days to return the corrected version of their papers.

- The editorial team will review the revisions and ensure that they comply with the requirements of the article evaluation reports. The editorial team will notify the final decision on the publication of the text within 15 days.

- If the text has been accepted, the authors will receive proofs for correction. Changes that can be made after this time will be limited. Corrected proofs will be returned to the journal's editorial team within 15 days.
