Abstract

Nearing the end of the year 2023, Geronimo de Uztariz magazine publishes a new issue, the 37th, both on paper and accessible through the web platform. This issue continues the usual structure, recovering the "Didactics" section, absent in recent issues. Thus, five sections - "Dossier", "Studies", "Didactics", "Young Researchers" and "Reviews"- make up a set that has met our expectations.

The "Dossier" is entitled "Deindustrialization and Heritage". The idea behind it was prompted by the attention drawn by the deindustrialization processes of the last half century, which have profoundly transformed cities, regions and even states. Given that the reflection on these processes has given rise to referential works and an important conceptual baggage,
we now intend to contribute with articles that bring together various methodological tools, in order to encourage dialogue between different territories, based on interdisciplinary and comparative approaches. In short, a dossier aimed at thinking about deindustrialization from its complexity, combining the reuse and resignification of industrial spaces with the territorial effects of the decline and transformations of labor, as well as the ways of approaching industrial heritage, museumization and patrimonialization (...)
