Abstract

The collection of tales Shifu yuelaiyue youmo, written by Guan Moye (Gaomi, Shandong, 1995), was published in the original language in 1999 and has since been translated into several languages, including the Basque language. It was brought to us by translators Maialen Marin and Aiora Jaka in 2013, exactly one year after Mo Yan won the Literary Novel. The translation was made thanks to the 2012 Jokin Zatiegi Prize, which aims to translate the winning works of the Literary Novel into the Basque Country.
